This Privacy Policy explains how OSBeats LLC collects, uses, processes, shares, and retains information when you use OSBeats services, including the Marketplace, creator and artist features, OSBeats Vocal Studio, mastering tools, OSAI, collaboration features, the OSBeats Plugin Bridge, and related services.

2. Information We May Collect

Account and Profile Information

We may collect information such as your name, display name, email address, account identifiers, authentication information, account type, profile information, artist or creator information, social links, preferences, and account settings.

Music, Uploads, and Creative Content

When you choose to use relevant features, OSBeats may process music, beats, songs, vocals, recordings, stems, project files, mixes, masters, artwork, images, metadata, lyrics, descriptions, and other content you upload, create, transmit, save, or share.

Vocal Studio and Session Information

Depending on the features you use, OSBeats may process Vocal Studio project and session information, track information, collaborators, session invitations, chat or collaboration information, exported files, recording metadata, processing settings, presets, and other information needed to provide studio functions.

Device, Audio, MIDI, and Plugin Information

OSBeats may process technical information about your browser, operating system, device, audio configuration, microphone or audio device availability, MIDI device availability and messages used by the service, Plugin Bridge connection status, plugin metadata, application versions, IP address, diagnostic events, and technical logs.

Some device, MIDI, audio, plugin, or bridge information may be processed locally on your device and may not be transmitted to OSBeats unless transmission is necessary for a feature you use, diagnostics, security, synchronization, collaboration, or support.

Messages and Collaboration Information

We may process messages, collaboration invitations, session activity, shared files, reports, and other communications submitted through OSBeats features.

Transaction and Subscription Information

We may collect records of purchases, memberships, subscriptions, licenses, promotions, payouts, refunds, payment status, transaction identifiers, and related marketplace or billing activity.

Usage, Security, and Support Information

We may collect feature usage, listening activity, saved music, analytics, error information, browser and network information, security events, moderation history, reports, support requests, and logs needed to operate, protect, troubleshoot, and improve OSBeats.

3. Microphone, MIDI, Local Device, and Browser Permissions

Certain Vocal Studio features require browser or operating-system permission to access a microphone, audio device, MIDI controller, local-device connection, or similar hardware capability.

Your browser or operating system may present its own permission prompt. OSBeats uses these permissions only to provide features you choose to use and subject to the controls made available by your browser, operating system, or device.

You may revoke device permissions through your browser or operating system, although doing so may prevent the affected feature from working.

Payment processing may be handled by third-party processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or other supported providers. When a payment processor handles card or financial credentials directly, OSBeats does not need to receive or store complete payment-card credentials.

OSBeats may retain transaction identifiers, payment status, purchase records, subscription information, payout information, and other records necessary for billing, fraud prevention, accounting, customer support, and dispute resolution.

6. How Information May Be Shared

OSBeats may disclose information:

Do not place confidential or sensitive personal information in fields or content intended for public display.

9. Retention

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, preserve transaction and license records, support projects or content, prevent fraud, maintain security and moderation history, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

12. Children

OSBeats is not directed to children under 13, and users under 13 may not create or use an OSBeats account.

If OSBeats learns that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 in circumstances where parental consent is legally required and was not obtained, OSBeats will take reasonable steps to address the information in accordance with applicable law.
